Gregor is an elderly man riding the VMC 64 who fears the local cursed forest in Romania, harboring deep superstitions about its true nature.
Shortly after Josh exited the railcar restroom, Gregor tells Josh about the message that Kate left for him. The train was soon after violently derailed by Ernst after Josh discovers Kate has been kidnapped - fortunately, Gregor, along with most of the passengers, were able to escape and take refuge in a nearby cave. Gregor chooses to stay, while the other survivors decide to venture into the forest.
Gregor is eventually seen again when he saves Josh from being killed, and the two attempt to escape together. He was later sliced in half by a guillotine trap while inspecting a puddle of fresh blood, hoping to find some survivors nearby, and died shortly after.
